Tax Accountant - 3 yrs. experience required

Public Accounting - Tax Accountant - Senior Accountant - Tax Preparer

CPA Firm is looking for an experienced accountant, tax preparer or Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 3 years (preferably 5+ years) of public accounting experience.

Excellent communication skills are needed for this dynamic position, which requires the ability to prepare individual, partnership, corporate, and trust federal income tax returns. Our firm uses the Thomson Reuters software suite, including UltraTax CS. Strong accounting skills and a deep understanding of financial statements are required, as this will be a significant part of the job. Excellent computer and technology skills are also required, including Microsoft Office - QuickBooks, etc. Minimal overtime is required as we recognize the need for lifestyle balance. Applicant must have an accounting degree with desire to become a CPA. Highly motivated individual with career goal of ownership is a plus.

Full Charge Bookkeeper 5+ years bookkeeping exp required

Public Accounting exp preferred but not required- QuickBooks exp required

CPA Firm is looking for an experienced Full Charge Bookkeeper with advanced QuickBooks skills.

This position will be assisting with Compilation Engagements and Bookkeeping to include:

   - Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Accounting
   - Sales Tax
   - Payroll Tax
   - Business Personal Property Renditions

 The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting topics, theory, and financial statement presentation.

The candidate must be highly organized and detail oriented. The candidate MUST possess QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Microsoft Word, and Excel skills to be considered for the position. Minimal overtime is required as we recognize the need for lifestyle balance. QuickBooks test will be part of the pre-screening interview process.

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is preferred, although a degree is not required.
